Stevns Klint Trampesti is a very special trail, where more than 50 landowners, through an agreement with Stevns Municipality, have allowed the trail to cross their property. This makes it possible to hike between Rødvig Havn in the south and Bøgeskov Havn in the north, a distance of 22 km, past the disused chalk and limestone quarries, Højerup Gamle Kirke, the Cold War Museum and Stevns Klint Experience.
Boesdal Kalkbrud
A short walk or bike ride from the seaside hotel lies Boesdal Kalkbrud, with its impressive white cliff walls and open landscapes. In summer the quarry is the setting for concerts and cultural events, while the area is a great place for a walk all year round.
Højerup Gamle Kirke
The iconic church stands dramatically on the edge of Stevns Klint. When part of the church fell into the sea in 1928, the place became part of Danish history. Today you can experience both the special story and one of the most beautiful views in the area.

At five o'clock in the morning in 1928, a large piece of the cliff fell into the sea, taking the churchyard and the church's chancel with it. Today the church towers on the very edge of the cliff, and the lost chancel has been replaced by a viewing terrace with fantastic views over cliff and sea. Also take a walk in the memorial grove by the church, visit the fisherman's cottage where locals sell handicrafts, or the large nature playground by the car park. Read more
Rødvig Havn

From the top of the lighthouse, 69 metres above sea level, you can see over the flat Stevns landscape, the Cold War installations at Stevnsfort, the Øresund and the coast of Sweden. The original Stevns Fyr dates from 1818, and in 1878 the 27-metre-high lighthouse tower was built from chalk stone cut from Stevns Klint. Also visit the old lighthouse keeper's house with an exhibition about the lighthouse, nature and geology, and often exhibitions by local artists. Read more
Stevnsfort Cold War Museum

During the Cold War, Stevnsfort was a piece in the defence of Denmark and NATO, and for 40 years watch was kept here on the enemy, deep below the surface. On a guided tour you see how the soldiers lived, the rooms where the surveillance took place, and the long underground tunnels that open out onto the cliff face and the sea. Above ground you can see the HAWK missile batteries up close. Read more and book a tour at Østsjællands Museum.
Geomuseum Faxe & Faxe Kalkbrud
