The hotel reception can be reached by phone on 56 50 60 98 on weekdays from 11.00 to 14.00. You can also email us at info@roedvigkro.dk. We answer emails every day from 8.30 to 16.00.

We serve lunch from 12.00 to 15.00 and dinner from 17.30 to 21.00. You are very welcome in the restaurant for coffee and cake or drinks and snacks between 12.00 and 21.00.

We are closed for winter from 13 December 2026 to 13 January 2027 inclusive. During that period the restaurant does not serve, but we can always offer a lovely clean bed to sleep in.

When you book directly with us, check-in is from 14.00 and check-out is before 11.00 at the seaside hotel itself. If you have booked in Kridthuset, check-in is from 15.00 and check-out is at 10.00. If you would like earlier access to your room, you can either book a table for lunch in our restaurant or get early access for a supplement.

Yes, your four-legged friend is very welcome in our rooms with entrance from the courtyard garden. Bringing a dog costs 400 kr. per room.

Rødvig Kro & Badehotel is an old building with several levels and steps. It is possible to enter in a wheelchair at street level. We always recommend calling first to let us know you are arriving in a wheelchair, as the street-level entrance can be unavailable during larger parties. We do not have an accessible toilet or bathroom.

For overnight stays we have one room on the ground floor, which also connects to the restaurant. There is no accessible toilet in the room. Again, we recommend contacting us in advance.

There is no lift in the hotel.

Our rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors have a sea view, but unfortunately no balcony. On the ground floor we have rooms with access to the courtyard garden.

All rooms have a shower and toilet. We have no rooms with a bathtub.

There is a TV in the rooms where you can watch DR. You can also stream from your own phone, tablet or computer.

The breakfast buffet is open from 7.30-10.00 on weekdays and 8.00-10.00 at weekends.

We always offer a vegetarian menu on our menu. We can easily cater for allergies and other dietary needs for a small menu supplement. Please let us know about any dietary requirements in advance.

We offer free parking right next to the seaside hotel. Bicycles can be stored locked in our bicycle shed.

Yes, we offer 6 Clever charging points right next to the seaside hotel. Please note that they cannot be reserved and that you must be a Clever subscriber to use them. We ask our guests to be considerate of others who need to charge, and not to leave their vehicles connected once fully charged.

There are good train connections to Rødvig from Copenhagen via Køge. On weekdays there is a departure and arrival every half hour, at weekends every two hours. The journey from Copenhagen Central Station to Rødvig takes about 1½ hours. It is only a 5-minute walk from Rødvig Station to Rødvig Kro & Badehotel. Check departures on Rejseplanen (journey planner) and Local train.

The fresh waters of the Baltic Sea are our spa, right opposite the seaside hotel. The bathing jetty is up all year round. The sauna on the beach can be booked on request or visited during public opening hours. Tickets are bought at the hotel reception.

No, Rødvig Kro & Badehotel is 100% smoke-free indoors. Smoking is only permitted in our outdoor courtyard gardens and at the entrances in the designated smoking areas, where large sand-filled ashtrays are placed. We ask our guests to spare other guests and our staff from smoke.

Remember that we are happy to prepare ”to go” packed lunches and picnic baskets for you.

There is a hairdryer in the room, and an ironing board and iron can be borrowed.
