Many young people have held their confirmation at Rødvig Kro & Badehotel over the years. We are experts at putting together a perfect and unforgettable confirmation party to your wishes in one of our many party rooms, with professional guidance and service.

We have cosy old inn rooms and party rooms with a view of the water and space for up to 100 guests.

If you would like to gather the family for the whole weekend around the confirmation, we offer accommodation in connection with the party. For large parties we are happy to help coordinate extra accommodation at a nearby place.

We put your party menu together from our menu. It is always made with seasonal ingredients and, as far as possible, organic and local produce. All dishes are served plated, and for the starter we serve homemade bread and whipped butter.

    Frequently asked questions about parties

    How is the planning of the party handled?
    We are happy to first give you a no-obligation tour of the seaside hotel. Once you have booked your party, you pay a reservation fee. About 6 weeks before the party, we hold a planning meeting with you where all the details of the party are planned.
    How many guests can your party rooms hold, and how are they arranged?
    Our large party hall with big windows towards Stevns Klint and the Baltic Sea can hold up to 110 people at long tables and 90 people at round tables. The hall has a large fireplace, upholstered furniture and a high ceiling. The hall has all AV equipment.

    Kaffestuen is an elongated party room with 2 windows overlooking Stevns Klint and the Baltic Sea. Kaffestuen can hold 44 people at 4 long tables or up to 32 people at one long table. Kaffestuen is clad in light wooden walls, with upholstered furniture, a high ceiling and beautiful, atmospheric lamps.

    The café is an elongated party room with 4 windows towards Stevns Klint and the Baltic Sea. The room can hold 28 people at 4 long tables and up to 22 people at one long table. The room is charmingly furnished with historic photographs and paintings from the long life of the seaside hotel, a checkered floor and newer FDB furniture.
    Do you hold tastings of menus and wines?
    Unfortunately, we do not offer proper tastings of menus and wines. However, you are more than welcome to visit our restaurant, where you can taste our 3-course menu in our usual good standard at a reduced price.
    Do you have AV equipment and speakers?
    We have a projector and screen in our party rooms. A sound box (and microphone) can be rented for a supplement of 500 kr.
    May we bring our own photo booth, sweets, chocolate, wine, wedding cake and the like?
    Yes, we look forward to making your party completely personal. You are welcome to bring various sweets and chocolate and a photo booth to add an extra fun dimension to your party. If you wish to bring your own wine and wedding cake, we charge a fee for service and handling of these items. We call this “corkage”.
    May we put gift bags in the rooms for our guests?
    Yes, of course. We also offer hangover kits, which we place in the rooms for you. They cost 95 kr. per person and contain treats that give your guests a good “morning after”.
    Can you recommend music, DJ, photographer, hairdresser and the like?
    We have many good and reliable partners whom we have worked with for many years. Tell us about your needs, and we will gladly assist you in booking the best suppliers for your party.
    What decoration is there in the party room?
    We always set the tables with white tablecloths, white paper napkins, white candles and the house flowers. If you have booked a larger party package, we set the tables with larger flowers from our local supplier. You can add cloth napkins if you wish. You are welcome to bring and put up your own decorations in limited quantities. Shooting confetti cannons and throwing rice is not permitted.
    What time does the party end?
    With us, the party always ends by 03 at the latest.
    Do our guests have to book rooms directly with you?
    All communication regarding room bookings goes through the host couple.
    What about payment?
    For convenience, we send you an invoice by email the day after the party. Alternatively, you can also pay by card at reception at check-out. Your guests can settle their rooms individually at check-out. We prefer not to receive large amounts in cash.
    Can we get married at the seaside hotel?
    It is possible to get married outdoors in our courtyard and on the lawn by the water opposite the seaside hotel. There are also several churches in the area where the ceremony can take place.
